The letters TLC represent three essential components that lead to excellence. The letter T represents talent and refers to the natural ability or skill of an individual. The letter L stands for leadership. Leadership includes self-leadership as well as the ability to influence, inspire, and motivate others. The letter C symbolizes character. Character consists of the moral virtues that shape a person’s decisions and actions as well as the qualities that enable a person to excel in a specific performance environment.
